The weather is changing, football is back on TV, and all I want is to be warm, cozy, and tucked away in my kitchen. There’s just something about fall—the crisp air, the sound of a game playing in the background, and the smell of something sweet baking in the oven—that feels like home.

This year, I joined a Pick ’Em league, so I’m more tuned in to football than ever. Saturdays in our house are filled with college football, and I’ve finally learned what people mean when they say you “lose your partner” to the season. But truthfully, I can’t complain. Tim loves all things football, but he loves quality time with me even more, so he’s chosen to only dive into college football on Saturdays. It feels like the perfect compromise—I get to be in the kitchen, doing what I love most, while he’s watching the games, and we still get to share that one-on-one time.

This weekend, I already have my plan. I’ll bake a pan of rich, fudgy gluten-free chocolate brownies, serving them in the sweetest Brownie Recipe Baker Set. For lunch, we’ll enjoy pulled pork sandwiches made with the Pulled Pork Simmering Sauce—a hearty fall favorite that feels just right for game day. And, because football calls for snacking, wings tossed in Hot Honey Wing Sauce will be the perfect sweet-and-spicy appetizer.

Of course, football Saturdays aren’t just about the food—they’re about being comfortable, too. I’ll be cozy in my Weekends, Coffee, and Football Sweatshirt with my Tailgates & Touchdowns Baseball Hat pulled low while I stir pots and pull pans from the oven. And if I feel like dressing things up just a bit, my go-to will be the cozy Red Game Day Sweater—stylish but still perfect for fall Saturdays.

The boys, of course, will look absolutely adorable in the Football Rollneck Sweater. They love anything that makes them feel part of the fun, and I know they’ll be thrilled to sport their football gear while sneaking bites of pulled pork or brownies.

And if I’m hosting, I’ll make sure the table looks just as festive as the food tastes. I can already picture game day spreads served in Football Jumbo Baking Cups, paired with the Football Toothpick Server, the Football Tray with Spatula, and topped off with a Tailgate Towel for the finishing touch. It’s those little details that turn a Saturday afternoon into something extra special.

The older I get, the more I realize fall isn’t just about football or food—it’s about creating those moments of warmth and connection. It’s the brownies fresh out of the oven, the laughter of little boys in football sweaters, the sound of the game in the background, and Tim by my side. That’s the kind of cozy fall Saturday I want to hold onto all season long.
Have you made your picks for fantasy football this week? And if that isn't your style, what are you cooking this weekend?
