Hey Coffee Lovers! ☕️
I'm Sammi, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to the very first edition of "Sammi's Sunday Scoop!" For those who don’t know me yet, I’m a full-time 4th-grade teacher (shout out to my amazing students!), and whenever I get a break from the classroom, you’ll find me at The View Cafe & Gifts. It’s truly my home away from home, and this blog is my way of staying connected with all of you when I can’t be here in person.
As a teacher, my days are filled with the joys of watching my students learn and grow. There’s nothing quite like seeing the spark of understanding in their eyes when a lesson clicks! Beyond the classroom, I also coach high school volleyball, where I get to share my passion for the sport and help young athletes discover their potential. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of their journey, both on and off the court.
The View is such a vibrant hub of the community, and I enjoy connecting with everyone who walks through the door. Each person has a unique story to share, and I find it fascinating to learn about their lives, dreams, and even their favorite coffee orders! There’s something magical about those moments of connection, and I cherish every conversation.
Today, being National Coffee Day, feels like the perfect occasion to kick off this blog! Coffee has always been a staple in my life—whether it’s fueling me for a busy day of teaching or providing that much-needed boost while I grade papers late into the evening. At The View, you can bet I’m usually sipping on my favorite latte while catching up with my cafe family and soaking in the wonderful atmosphere.
Through this blog, I can’t wait to share a little bit of everything with you—my thoughts, stories, favorite finds, and of course, all things coffee! So, to celebrate National Coffee Day, I’d love to hear from you: what’s your go-to drink when you need a pick-me-up? If you swing by The View and catch me during one of my breaks, let’s chat about it over a cup!
Stay caffeinated, and I can’t wait to see you next Sunday!

I consider The View to be my safe place where I’m surrounded by a magnificent view, people I consider family and of course coffee! Not to mention plenty of things to spend my money on! 😊
